Renewable energy integrator Apollo Power (7911) announced on the 18th that it has signed a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with a major domestic corporate client, using a green power wheeling model paired with Taiwan Renewable Energy Certificates (T-REC). Based on the supply plan, cumulative delivery over the 10-year term is estimated at around 3.75 billion kWh. The long-term contract gives the company a stable, highly visible revenue base for years to come, and marks Apollo Power's shift from a power trading matchmaker toward an AI-driven digital energy management platform with effects on both sides of the market.

The market widely views green power as an increasingly strategic long-term asset for enterprises, driven by demand from AI data centers and RE100 requirements across the tech supply chain. Apollo Power's current strategy centers on three areas: revenue visibility from long-term contracts, its AI software platform, and a one-stop offering combining green power, energy storage, and EMS.

The first highlight is the revenue visibility that comes with long-term contracts. Traditional power trading tends to be single-point and short-term, leading to more volatile revenue. This 10-year PPA helps improve the company's revenue structure, providing a relatively stable base of income over the coming years. Under net-zero policy and the rise of AI's heavy power demand, long-term green power contracts function much like long-term subscription services for corporate clients, carrying counter-cyclical, high-retention characteristics.

The second highlight is the network effect created by its two AI platforms. The "Green Power AI" smart energy management platform uses AI for generation forecasting, consumption analysis, and optimal certificate matching, guaranteeing green power delivery and lowering procurement risk for corporate buyers, while helping power generators secure long-term sales channels and improve returns. Its "Guardian" smart operations and maintenance platform digitizes and networks power stations scattered across Taiwan. As both sides of the platform continue to grow, the accumulating data is expected to improve AI dispatch efficiency, creating a flywheel effect of scale and efficiency reinforcing each other.

The third highlight is its one-stop green power, storage, and EMS offering. Chairman Wang Hui-min emphasized that the key to future energy competition isn't who owns the most power plants, but who can use software to fully connect power stations, clients, certificates, storage, and dispatch. By bundling green power sales with behind-the-meter storage and EMS software, Apollo Power is moving toward an energy-as-a-service (EaaS) platform, with plans to extend services such as storage deployment and virtual power plant (VPP) dispatch to the same clients, gradually raising each client's long-term value (LTV).

As Taiwan's power market liberalization and carbon pricing trends continue to advance, the market has taken note of energy companies with software-based dispatch capabilities. With green power, software, storage, and dispatch as its core pillars, Apollo Power has both a stable base from long-term contracts and ongoing investment in its AI platform, aiming to move toward net-zero transition together with both sides of the energy market.
